I have been listening to Scrw music since the early 90's, somewhere around 93-94 (R.I.P Robert Davis aka DJ Screw)! I have to credit my partner Salee for turning me on to the world according to DJ crew. The first song that I ever heard Scrw'd was Lay It Down by 8-Ball & MJG. Since that moment Scrw Music has been an interest of mine. As the skill and techniqSue associated with Scrw Music has evolved, it has become a phenomenon outside of Texas and has come to the point of being recognized as another southern contribution to the culture of HIP-HOP. I have always been a fan, but now I am a contributor to an artform that is to be acknowledged and respected.
